A Snapshot of Your Day

Join our Transformers Asia business and help turn complex international customer requirements into competitive transformer solutions. You will lead technical and commercial proposal preparation for export projects, working across Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and factories to define the right solution and cost structure. You will analyze specifications, international standards, commercial terms, risks, and opportunities while keeping bids on track against customer deadlines. Through close collaboration with global customers and stakeholders across Asia, you will help secure export projects and support the continued growth of our transformer business.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• You will lead technical and commercial proposals for transformer export projects, coordinating with factories and engineering teams to develop optimized technical solutions, cost structures, and competitive offers.
• You will analyze customer specifications, commercial terms, drawings, and country-specific requirements, including IEC, IEEE, and ANSI standards, to identify technical risks, opportunities, and deviations.
• You will manage bid timelines, internal reviews, approvals, risk assessments, and mitigation plans to ensure complete and timely proposal submission.
• You will engage with international customers and field sales teams to clarify technical requirements, negotiate scopes, and support contract negotiations.
• You will collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Engineering, sister organizations, and factories across Asia to ensure a smooth order handover and effective resource utilization.

What You Bring

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a closely related technical field.
• You bring at least 3 years of experience in technical sales support, proposal engineering, or design engineering within the transformer or power transmission industry, including experience with international or export bidding.
• You understand electrical grid technologies and power transformer design parameters and can interpret complex technical specifications, drawings, and international standards such as IEC, IEEE, and ANSI.
• You have experience with cost estimation, pricing, commercial contract terms, risk assessment, and project management frameworks, together with strong negotiation and technical clarification skills.
• You communicate fluently in English and Chinese and can collaborate effectively with international customers and cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organization.
